Drum roll... the organising team are pleased to announce that Rescue Day 2019 will be held on Saturday 13th July 2019 at 7 Lakes Country Park, Crowle, North Lincs.
After another fantastic Rescue Day in July 2018, the hugely popular family event will return again for 2019. The day focuses on our emergency services and voluntary agencies, including Police, Fire, Ambulance and Water Rescue teams, with live action demonstrations, 999 vehicles plus a chance to meet the teams who serve and protect us and see close up what they do.
Chris Long & John Armson (Joint Chairpersons) and all of the Rescue Day committee wish to thank all the companies, organisations and individuals, many of whom are volunteers, who yet again came together to make Rescue Day 2018 such a success. "Without the support, sponsorship and dedicated involvement of these people the event would not be able to happen, therefore we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who made 2018 another great year for Rescue Day and special thank you to all the team at 7 Lakes Country Park " said Chris.
John went on to say: "A huge thank you also goes to all the members of the public who come along and support Rescue Day and our emergency services each year. The great interaction that goes on between the public and the emergency and voluntary sector services is just brilliant, and it's what the day is all about. We are looking forward to 2019 already and will continue to focus on a fun family event which promotes our emergency and voluntary services and agencies, and gives safety messages about road, rail, water, fire and community safety to the public."
